On Thursday night, the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets put on a show against the Boston Celtics, who are currently sitting atop the Eastern Conference standings with the best record in the league.
Although it was a close game throughout the contest in Denver at Ball Arena, the Nuggets always seemed to be in control, as they took Jayson Tatum completely out of the game and made Jaylen Brown try to beat them.
Ultimately, the Nuggets came out on top with a six-point win on their home floor and convinced a lot of people that Denver is still the team to beat in the NBA with the playoffs right around the corner.
Even though the general consensus right now around the NBA is that the Nuggets are the cream of the crop at this point in the season, Nick Wright of FOX Sports believes that there’s one team that can beat them in a seven-game series, via “First Things First.”
“I think only the Bucks can beat a healthy Nuggets team,” Wright said. “And I’m not even saying that Milwaukee is better than them, I’m saying the only team that doesn’t need the puncher’s chance … That is because Giannis [Antetokounmpo] can go toe-to-toe with [Nikola] Jokic.”

Milwaukee is currently 7.5 games back of the Celtics in the East and likely won’t be able to get to the top spot, but there’s a chance that the Bucks could go the distance and reach the NBA Finals, where the Nuggets could be waiting.
Even if Antetokounmpo can give Jokic a run for his money, the Nuggets still have a better all-around team that has championship experience and knows how to turn it on in the NBA playoffs, so this take by Wright might not hold water.
