The Los Angeles Rams won the Super Bowl in 2021, largely due to the trades and free-agent acquisitions they made.
While many questioned these moves when they were made, it’s hard to argue with a Super Bowl victory.
However, just one year removed from this title, the Rams’ roster was ravaged by injuries, and led to a 5-12 record.
In a recent segment of his show, ‘What’s Wright?’ Nick Wright gave his expectations for the Rams this year.
“If I was running the Rams, the best case scenario for this year is win 9 games,” Wright said.
"If I was running the Rams, the best case scenario for this year is win 9 games. Most likely is win 5-6. I would’ve held an auction — Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp & Matthew Stafford — clean the books & try to get Caleb Williams." — @getnickwright pic.twitter.com/7FZ1D09wRy

He added that five or six wins are more likely and the Rams should hold an auction for their top players.
Wright named Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald, and Matthew Stafford as the three players he’d get rid of, receiving elite compensation in return.
To Wright, the best thing the Rams can do is rebuild, to “clean the books and try to get Caleb Williams.”
Williams is a highly-touted quarterback prospect.
It’s no secret that the Rams have one of the oldest average rosters in the NFL.
Their Super Bowl window with the current roster construction is coming to a screeching halt.
Wright believes they should get ahead of this issue rather than try to compete for an eight or nine-win season.
The mold for a Super Bowl-winning team is constantly changing.
Will the Rams adapt to the changing times?
Or, will they keep their current roster construction, hoping for a miracle in 2023?
