Nick Wright is one of the most prominent faces in sports media, as he almost always has a hot take on any major situation that develops in the NFL.
After the Dallas Cowboys attempted one of the most memorable plays in NFL playoff history, Wright took to Twitter to express his opinion on the matter.
They did it. They really did it. They somehow outdid the QB sneak. God, I hope they keep McCarthy & Dak forever. pic.twitter.com/3ZgdsNqx1Y

The sneak that Wright is referring to is a play that Dak Prescott attempted in the Cowboys’ 2021 Wild Card matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.
In this play, Prescott ran a sneak to get a first down, but there were only ten seconds left on the clock, and the Cowboys had no timeouts.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they were unable to get everyone into position to spike the ball, and the game was over.
Last night, at least in Wright’s eyes, the Cowboys failed to an even greater degree than last year.
The Cowboys will need to seriously evaluate their team moving forward, and the organization has a lot of decisions to make.
Although team owner Jerry Jones has contended that Mike McCarthy will be their coach moving forward, McCarthy’s actions mid-game do not instill confidence that he is the long-term answer.
The Cowboys haven’t made it to a conference championship in over 20 years, and, after this loss last night, many are wondering what it will take for them to get out of this rut they have found themselves in.
Depending on how they decide to move forward with the team, it could be a long couple of years for the Cowboys.
