The Philadelphia Eagles pulled off another shocker by signing Pro Bowl cornerback James Bradberry to a one-year, $10 million deal.
ESPN’s NFL insider Adam Schefter revealed that he will get $7.25 million in guaranteed money plus $2.5 million in upside.
Meanwhile, CBS Sports’ Josina Anderson shared that Bradberry chose the Eagles because he is a perfect fit for the system.
Likewise, New York Giants fans further criticized Dave Gettleman for making this happen.
Bradberry is just one of the key additions that general manager Howie Roseman made this offseason.

Aside from adding young talent on both sides of the ball, the Eagles have particularly addressed their aging defense by signing Bradberry, Haason Reddick, and Kyzir White.
They also selected Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean, who could be the biggest steal of the 2022 NFL Draft.
The moves that Roseman made has Eagles fans confident about their chances next season, especially against the division rival Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys won the NFC East last season, while the Eagles also made the playoffs with a 9-8 record.
Both teams lost in the Wild Card round against the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, respectively.
Bradberry And Darius Slay Will Terrorize The League
The Eagles should have an easier time preventing their opponents from scoring.
After all, they have one of the league’s best cornerback duos.
On one side, they have Bradberry, who had four interceptions in his final year with the Giants.
Meanwhile, All-Pro Darius Slay covers the other side.
Bradberry isn’t a perfect defensive back because he has his fair share of tackling jitters.
James Bradberry tackling ability is a liability
Bradberry is missing an alarming rate of his attempts
Missed Tackles Rate:
22.6% – 2021
21.5% – 2020Big plays usually consist of a missed assignment or missed tackle. Missing that many of your attempts is concerning 😵💫

But he and Slay are the best in terms of preventing big catches.
NBC Sports’ Dave Zangaro pointed out that only two cornerbacks have over 15 interceptions and 80 passes defended since 2016.
Those players happen to be teammates in Philadelphia.
Most pass deflections since 2016:
1) Darius Slay: 84
2) James Bradberry: 82#Eagles— Thomas R. Petersen (@thomasrp93) May 18, 2022
Therefore, opposing teams might find it difficult to complete deep throws against this tandem.
