Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman isn’t done tinkering with the roster.
They’ve traded for A.J. Brown in exchange for the 18th and 101st overall selections in the 2022 NFL Draft.
The Eagles also brought in Haason Reddick to help with their pass rush.
Philadelphia also added Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean through the draft, while getting more draft capital in the coming years.
But just when they seem to be done with the changes, they pulled off another shocker by adding a Pro Bowl cornerback.

NFL Network national insider Ian Rapoport tweeted, “Sources: Former #Giants Pro Bowl CB James Bradberry has agreed to terms with the #Eagles on a 1-year deal for $10M. A big-time post-draft addition, as Bradberry lands in a perfect spot.”
The New York Giants released Bradberry after failing to find a trade partner.
That move also created some cap room for the Giants.
As of the 2021 season, he has 380 tackles, 82 passes defended, 15 interceptions, and three sacks.
Bradberry is a fantastic addition for the Eagles because he will line up opposite Darius Slay.
That cornerback combination has the ability to shut down wide receivers, making it difficult for opponents to win.
Bradberry Will Be Put To The Test
Bradberry and Slay may take turns covering the other teams’ best wideouts.
They will have several opportunities to prove their mettle during the 2022 season.
Some of the receivers they will face during the regular season are Justin Jefferson, Terry McLaurin, Marquise Brown, CeeDee Lamb, Chase Claypool, Michael Thomas, and Jarvis Landry.
Shutting down these players might merit another Pro Bowl inclusion for Bradberry.
He will also have extra motivation after finishing with a career-worst 47 total tackles last season.
