The Arizona Cardinals made it tough on the Los Angeles Rams.
Even though they were eliminated from playoff contention, they tried their best to spoil the Los Angeles Rams’ party.
That wasn’t the case, but at least their best offensive player finally got to the endzone.
It took him 98 catches, but Trey McBride finally scored his first touchdown of the season.

The Colorado State product has been one of the best pass-catching tight ends in the entire league, yet it seemed like Kyler Murray couldn’t find him when it mattered the most.
Either because of bad luck, play-calling, play design, or whatever reason, McBride kept falling short of the endzone.
He was borderline unstoppable in the loss to the Rams, though.
He finished the game with a team-best 12 receptions on 16 targets (also a team-high) and had 123 receiving yards and a score.
Murray kept feeding him in the middle section of the field, and Sean McVay’s team didn’t seem to have an answer for him and his physicality.
Granted, it would’ve been better to keep him more involved in the passing game when they still had a chance to make the playoffs.
Fantasy football experts projected McBride to be one of the top tight ends in the league this season, and while that was the case in terms of grabs and yards, his lack of scoring was frustrating, even for him.
Hopefully, that won’t be the case going forward, as he and Marvin Harrison Jr. have the potential to be one of the most dominant pass-catching duos in all of football.
