The plot twists in the NFL never end, especially with the firing of Brian Flores.
No one saw the move coming because he’s coming off consecutive winning seasons.
The Miami Dolphins’ 2021 campaign was also dramatic, finishing with a 9-8 record after starting 1-7.
Some news outlets identify the power struggle between him and GM Chris Grier as the reason for his release.

Flores deserved more years with the Dolphins regardless of the team’s intentions.
Instead, he’s one of four former coaches released after the regular season.
However, his recent track record will make him an exciting hire.
That said, here are three teams that must reach out to Flores at once.
3. Las Vegas Raiders
Despite all the controversy they’ve been through, the Las Vegas Raiders are through to the playoffs, and interim head coach Rich Bisaccia deserves credit.
However, it isn’t sure whether he will become the full-time head coach.
Rumor has it that Mark Davis might bring Jim Harbaugh in if he decides to leave the University of Michigan.
Whatever your opinion of Rich Bisaccia, there’s no question that he is a better coach now than he was a month ago.

But even that possibility isn’t certain given the Wolverines’ improvement over the last season.
In that case, Flores is another strong candidate for a sneaky good defensive team.
Imagine how his scheme can unleash Maxx Crosby, Yannick Ngakoue, Denzel Perryman, and Quinton Jefferson even more.
2. Denver Broncos
The Broncos got rid of Vic Fangio after finishing with a 19-30 record for the past three seasons.
By the time he went out, Denver already had one of the better defensive units with Bradley Chubb, Justin Simmons, Kareem Jackson, and Pat Surtain II.
With Fangio gone, Flores can slide in and make this defense work well.
But while their unit on that side is already solid, addressing their quarterback situation is their top priority.

Getting an upgrade from Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater can help unlock their offense which already has Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon III in the backfield.
Their receiving platoon of Tim Patrick, Jerry Jeudy, Courtland Sutton, KJ Hamler, and Noah Fant can become devastating given the right play-caller.
Perhaps hiring Flores will help attract a marquee quarterback to play for the Broncos.
When that happens, the AFC West will compete with the NFC West as the NFL’s toughest division.
1. Chicago Bears
It didn’t take long before Flores got an interview with another NFL team.
Multiple reports reveal that the Chicago Bears will interview Flores after his sudden dismissal.
This job opening is intriguing because of Justin Fields‘ potential alone.
However, the roster has several concerns.
First, their defense is aging, and they will need reinforcements, especially in improving their run defense.

Second, their offensive line needs improvement as well.
Third, their receiving corps badly needs an upgrade because Allen Robinson II and Darnell Mooney alone won’t be enough if they want to compete better.
It’s imperative to fulfill those concerns, especially the third one because they’re in a division that has Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams.
Likewise, Flores can build a fantastic coaching staff that can help him make the Bears relevant again.
