Josh Dobbs was a bit of an afterthought for the Arizona Cardinals, trading for him just before the start of the season.
And while he hasn’t been spectacular by any means, it’s safe to say that he’s fared much better than expected thus far, even leading the Cardinals to an unlikely win over the Dallas Cowboys.
However, that’s not the most impressive thing he’s ever done, not by a mile.
The former Tennesee Volunteer is actually a rocket scientist, and as crazy as it may sound, he even interned at NASA and worked on the SpaceX launch.
When asked about his duties and tasks at NASA, the talented QB stated that he was ‘basically tasked with figuring out which rocket was best for the lunar rover to eventually go to the moon (via The Score).’

Easy peasy.
Dobbs has played for six different NFL franchises since entering the league as a fourth-round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2017 NFL Draft.
He’s obviously a smart guy, and he’s earned the respect of his colleagues in the locker room for his toughness knowing no one expected him to succeed or even be there, but still gives his best every single time he’s on the field.
The Cardinals are likely to roll with Dobbs for the remainder of the season, as there’s no point in rushing Kyler Murray back into action.
But if they don’t, he can rest assured that he’ll have plenty of chances to find another job.
