Once again, the Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable team in sports.
Of course, that’s meaningless for sports, as they keep struggling to stay relevant on the field.
However, as much as can be said of Jerry Jones as the general manager, no one can argue that he’s a marketing and business genius.
That’s why some might forget that he grew up in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Needless to say, he hasn’t, and he wanted everybody to remember that as well.
When asked whether he had ever eaten a raccoon, in the light of Xavier Legette’s now-viral comments, the business mogul says he has (via Jon Machota).
“I’ve eaten a lot of raccoon. The answer is yes. … It’s not uncommon at all. One of my favorites is squirrel. It’s wonderful. We all had our favorite pieces. … My mom and I would even ask for the brain of the squirrel. Delicious. Seriously.”

Talking on 105.3 The Fan, Jones claimed that not only is it not uncommon to eat raccoon like the Carolina Panthers’ young star said, but it’s also actually delicious.
He also added that squirrels were his favorite animals to eat, and his mom would even eat their brains.
To each his own.
It’s truly not uncommon in some places, as odd as it might seem for today’s society and big cities.
Jones has every right to enjoy whichever meal he pleases.
Some Cowboys fans would prefer he take time off from the team and leave football operations to someone else.
Jones knows how to make money like few people on Earth, and his expertise might be better suited for things other than roster-building.
