In a surprising move, the New York Jets will be making an unexpected change at quarterback in Week 15.
Although the previous reporting this week had suggested otherwise, the Jets will be rolling out a familiar young face this week.
#Jets coach Robert Saleh announces that QB Zach Wilson will start with this week, with QB Mike White not healthy enough to go. So, it’s back to the first-rounder.

Zach Wilson is getting the nod as the Jets’ starter.
White got injured on two separate occasions during Week 14, resulting in a hospital visit, and will be unable to play this week, much to the chagrin of Jets fans and teammates.
Can Wilson Get The Job Done?
In his seven starts this season, Wilson’s record is 5-2.
His wins were against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, and Buffalo Bills, and both of his losses came against the New England Patriots.
With Wilson as the quarterback, the Jets were winning games despite his poor play on the field.
Will he be able to succeed after not appearing in a game since November 20?
Let’s look at his track record.
He has thrown for 1,279 yards in his seven starts, posted a quarterback rating of just 72.6, and only completed 55.6% of his passes.
Wilson has been prone to throw interceptions, totaling five in seven games this year, and has only thrown four total touchdown passes.
This week, the Jets are playing against the Detroit Lions, who are the third-highest-scoring team in their last three games.
Will the high-flying Jets defense be able to put a stop to this potent offense?
And, when given the opportunity, will Wilson be able to overcome his early-season woes?
