Even though the Minnesota Vikings saw their season come to an abrupt ending, they got some good news from the NFL this week.
That is their star running back Dalvin Cook has been named to the Pro Bowl team.
Cook will head to the Pro Bowl Games as an injury replacement for Cowboys running back Tony Pollard.

This will be the fourth straight Pro Bowl appearance for Cook, in what was also his fourth straight 1,100+ yard rushing season.
Cook rushed 264 times for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns over the 17-game season.
He also added in 39 receptions for 295 yards and two touchdowns.
Despite the solid stats, this was a down year for Cook as a rusher.
He averaged only 69 yards per game and only had two 100-yard rushing games all year.
Nevertheless, he heads to the Pro Bowl for the fourth time in what has turned into a very good career for the 27-year-old.
Cook will now join five of his teammates at the Pro Bowl including Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, and T.J. Hockenson.
For the Vikings to have four offensive Pro Bowlers and still not get out of the first round of the playoffs is disappointing.
Minnesota looked like one of the best teams in the league early in the year, but they faltered down the stretch.
Their biggest issue was having a point differential of -3 despite 12 wins.
All of the one-score victories during the regular season finally caught up to them in the playoffs.
But, the Vikings still have a good roster heading into 2023, and Cook will once again play a big part.
