Entering the 2023 season, the Philadelphia Eagles look poised to once again make a deep postseason run as most of the core pieces on both sides of the field remain intact.
Despite losing some of their talent in the secondary, the Eagles still project to have a fearsome defense that couples well with their offensive attack.
The heart of the team still lies with Jalen Hurts who broke out in his sophomore season and looks ready to take the next step in his rise to stardom.
Working in Philadelphia’s favor is that the NFC looks weaker than it did last season which should only bolster their chances of making a Super Bowl appearance.
Eagles general manager Howie Roseman deserves credit for the roster he’s built as the success looks sustainable for the foreseeable future.
Roseman may have made another shrewd decision this summer when he decided to bring in cornerback Isaiah Rodgers via Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team.
Isaiah Rodgers will not count on the #Eagles roster this season, but he's now officially going to be with them once the league reinstates him, which is likely to happen next year.
A low risk, potentially high reward move by Philadelphia. https://t.co/Lnqb0ohEbs

Rodgers was subsequently placed on the reserve/suspended list shortly after his signing and will not make an appearance in 2022.
The cornerback is able to petition for reinstatement following the conclusion of the 2023 season, which means he could make his debut for the Eagles next year.
At 25 years old, Rodgers makes for an interesting add to the Philadelphia secondary that could use more experience.
While he might not be able to make an impact this season, Rodgers should have an opportunity to earn a role next season and further prove that Roseman knows what he’s doing.
