Aaron Rodgers’ recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show has made his intentions clear.
He is intending to play for the New York Jets in 2023, assuming the Green Bay Packers can get a deal done.
When this happens, Jordan Love will get an opportunity to be their full-time starter.
Love has sat behind Rodgers for three seasons.
While his potential impact on the league is still unknown, Rob Demovsky has recently commented on how confident the Packers are in Love moving forward.

The Packers did trade up for Love in the 2020 draft.
The team was impressed with what they saw from Love in college and wanted him to join their roster.
While many had initially speculated that the Packers were trading up to take a receiver, the organization had other plans.
Rodgers was on the heels of an off season in 2019, and at the time, many expected Love to take over, if Rodgers had another bad year.
However, Rodgers responded with back-to-back league MVP awards, seemingly thwarting the Packers’ plans.
Now that the writing is on the wall, the Packers will be able to truly see what Love has to offer.
In his career as a Packer, Love has played in ten total games, starting one when Rodgers had COVID.
During those ten games, Love has attempted 83 passes, totaling 606 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions.
Although it is a small sample size, Love has shown flashes of his abilities, showing Packers fans that he can be their quarterback of the future.
