Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will face a different challenge this season.
He won’t have All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill lining up with him after the Chiefs traded him to the Miami Dolphins.
The team brought in JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to fill the void that “Cheetah” left.
But regardless of the team’s composition, Mahomes will find a way to victory.
After all, he is 3-1 without Hill, and Travis Kelce is still around.
The Chiefs offense will keep on humming as they reach the playoffs once again.
But while their success is a foregone conclusion, NFL insider Dov Kleiman raised an interesting question regarding Mahomes and Peyton Manning.
Which QB had the best supporting cast around him to start his career, Mahomes or Manning?

Kleiman tweeted, “Which QB had the best supporting cast around him to start his career, Mahomes or Manning?”
Mahomes’ supporting cast includes Hill, Kelce, and Sammy Watkins, who is now with the Green Bay Packers.
Meanwhile, Manning had Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, and Edgerrin James.
Manning’s Crew Is The Easy Choice
Based on the choices, Manning takes it because Watkins had his best years with the Buffalo Bills.
He was serviceable with the Chiefs but never reached 1,000 receiving yards.
His production is far off compared to what Hill and Kelce contributed.
In contrast, both Harrison and James are already in the Hall of Fame.
James is a three-time All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowler who had 12,246 career rushing yards.
Meanwhile, Harrison had eight consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, all played with Manning.
His best season came in 2002 when he had 143 receptions, 1,722 yards, and 11 touchdowns.
Finally, Wayne was a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and his enshrinement will come soon.
He formed a potent 1-2 punch with Harrison which helped the Colts win Super Bowl XLI over the Chicago Bears.
Watkins simply couldn’t match the credentials of these two Colts legends.
However, playing in Green Bay could help him earn his second Super Bowl, edging Harrison and Wayne.
