The Kansas City Chiefs will undergo major revamps for the 2022 season.
It would hard to ignore the absence of both Tyreek Hill and Tyrann Mathieu from their roster.
Both have become All-Pros during their stay in Kansas City because of their significant contributions to the team’s success.
Hill is their primary option at wide receiver because of his speed that no NFL player can seem to match.
Meanwhile, Mathieu serves as their formidable last line of defense in the secondary.
They’ve moved on as Hill is with the Miami Dolphins while Mathieu joined his hometown team, the New Orleans Saints.
Yet despite those departures, it will be difficult to knock off the Chiefs from contention.
Patrick Mahomes is still their quarterback and Travis Kelce is still around.
JuJu Smith-Schuster is a signing that could also pay off for Andy Reid‘s crew.
That’s why fans took a sideswipe on their division rivals during Father’s Day.

The comical photo shows Mahomes being the “dad” of Derek Carr, Russell Wilson, and Justin Herbert.
Obviously, those three quarterbacks represent the Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, and Los Angeles Chargers, respectively.
Until they are unseated, the Chiefs are the kings of the AFC West, having won the division from 2016 to 2021.
The Chiefs Are In For A Fight
However, the road to their 15th division title won’t be easy because the other teams have improved.
Wilson’s addition to the Broncos gives them a veteran play-caller who can lead their talented offense.
Meanwhile, the Raiders added All-Pro wideout Davante Adams and pass rusher Chandler Jones.
Finally, the Chargers reinforced their defense by combining Joey Bosa and Derwin James Jr. with Sebastian Joseph-Day, J.C. Jackson, and Khalil Mack.
Therefore, the Chiefs will face stiffer challenges during divisional games.
