Make that two losses in the first two games of 2023 for the Minnesota Vikings.
Last year, they were getting the better end of one-score games.
This time, luck hasn’t been on their side despite Kirk Cousins’ impressive play.
They kicked off their season with a three-point loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Four days later, they dropped their Thursday Night Football encounter against the reigning NFC Champions Philadelphia Eagles.
ESPN’s Booger McFarland revealed his thoughts on the Vikings’ season so far.
“Vikings will miss Cook all season” McFarland tweeted.

Alexander Mattison has been disappointing as the Vikings starting running back.
He only has 62 yards on 19 carries through Weeks 1 and 2.
Meanwhile, Cook had 13 carries for 33 yards in the New York Jets’ season opener against the Buffalo Bills.
However, Breece Hall had the lion’s share of the snaps, finishing with 127 yards on ten attempts.
Cook was magnificent for the Vikings from 2019 to 2022.
He had four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, leading to four Pro Bowl selections.
But after their 2022 campaign, the Vikings decided to move on from their star running back.
After two games, they might be regretting their decision to let Cook walk away.
Worst yet, they didn’t get any assets in return when Cook left.
The Vikings will try to avoid a 0-3 hole when they host the Los Angeles Chargers next week.
