Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots have made a living out of bringing out the best of players that were misused somewhere else.
That might as well be the case again with James Robinson, who joined the team as a free agent after a brief stint with the New York Jets and falling from grace with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
When asked about why he chose the Patriots of all places, the former Jaguars standout raved about the Patriots’ way and how they always take care of business.

Robinson burst onto the NFL scene as an undrafted rookie in 2020, rushing for 1,070 yards with seven scores for the struggling Jaguars.
He tore his Achilles late in the 2021 season and then obviously lost his ground to Travis Etienne Jr.
The Jaguars traded him to the New York Jets to sub in for the injured Breece Hall, but he was inactive for the final five games of the season.
Now, Robinson will get a fresh start in New England after signing a two-year deal to stay in the division.
During his press conference, he acknowledged that last year wasn’t exactly his best but that he was looking forward to bouncing back and proving that he could still produce at an elite level.
Robinson seems like a perfect fit for the Patriots’ system, as he’s also done some damage as a pass-catcher.
He hauled in 49 receptions for 344 yards and three scores as a rookie and has 91 career catches.
Barring a setback, he should be in line to start over Rhamondre Stevenson, Kevin Harris, and Pierre Strong Jr.
