The Denver Broncos made a splash of a hire by landing Nathaniel Hackett as their new head coach.
He comes to Denver after spending several seasons with the Green Bay Packers.
Thus, the rumors of Aaron Rodgers being traded to the Broncos will only grow louder.
But that topic is out of bounds Friday during Hackett’s introductory press conference.
He would not want to be hit with a tampering fine on his first day on the job.
Instead, he is keeping it light and going through the usual song and dance of pledging to bring great things to a franchise.
He also cracked a great joke in what is an open competition to his former boss in Matt LaFleur.

“Matt LaFleur, I’m gonna make a run at being the sexiest head coach in the NFL against him,” Hackett said.
Keeping it light and fun is always a good option during these press conferences and Hackett is letting his personality shine through from the start.
Hackett Has Jokes
So it would appear Hackett believes LaFleur is in fact the “sexiest head coach” in the NFL.
Is there a ranking system for that?
This is a hilarious quote and LaFleur may offer up a fun response if he was still conducting press conferences instead of preparing for the offseason.
The Packers getting eliminated when they did opened the door for Hackett to take this job and beat out other candidates on the market.
Jokes aside, he faces a tough task in Denver.
Coach Hackett was asked about his philosophy on offense.

The team has not had much success since Peyton Manning retired and the offensive guru is now expected to turn things around, especially on offense.
Having his former quarterback in Rodgers show up this season would mean even more great vibes all throughout the year in Denver.
