In the few weeks since Kevin Durant demanded a trade from the Brooklyn Nets, we have heard a lot of rumors and speculation.
But we haven’t heard a lot of solid facts and news.
It’s become abundantly clear that any trade with Durant is going to take time and might not even happen until summer is nearly over.
In fact, it might not even happen at all.

Brian Windhorst threw a heaping helping of cold water on anyone expecting Durant to find a new home any time soon.
“From what I understand, the trade talks involving Kevin Durant have slowed to a trickle,” Windhorst said on ESPN.
Because the Nets are demanding so much and aren’t willing to budge, Durant’s departure has come to a halt.
Will he ever leave the Big Apple?
Durant On The Move
Durant made it clear where he wanted to go when he told the Nets he desired to leave: both the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat were his two favorite landing spots.
But no trade has formulated with either team.
A large part of this is because the Nets understandably want a lot in exchange for Durant.
They aren’t going to sign off on any deal unless it comes with quite a few All-Stars and draft picks.
Simply put, no team has created a package that appeals to Brooklyn so they aren’t doing a single thing to move the process along.
Some people now envision a future where both Durant and Kyrie Irving are playing with the Nets when the new season starts.
Brooklyn has the upper hand here and is in complete control and, right now, they’re in no rush to do anything.
