NBA Writer Answers An Easy Luka Doncic Question

There is no questioning the fact that Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks is one of the most talented players in the entire NBA.

That’s partly because his average is 28.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 8.7 assists a game.

But it’s also because he’s a young man (just 23 years old) and has room to keep growing.

In fact, many people feel that Doncic’s best is yet to come and he has at least several MVP-caliber seasons in him.

I’m trading any player in the NBA straight up for Luka Doncic. https://t.co/WIdkZxhc68

NBA writer Pranav Sriraman is all-in on Doncic.

He’s so into the young player, in fact, that he had a clear answer for a complicated question.

A follower asked if Sriraman would trade Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons straight up for Doncic.

Sriraman’s response was simple: “I’m trading any player in the NBA straight up for Luka Doncic.”

That is quite the response but is it a smart one?

Straight Up Trade

There are a few excellent, generational players in the league, such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, and more.

If you were running a team would you trade away each of those guys for Doncic?

That’s a very tough question but you can see why some people really would invest so heavily in Doncic.

He really does seem to be getting better and better.

The guard finally made it out of the first round of the playoffs last season and he helped his team go all the way to the Western Conference Finals.

Additionally, he’s been looking healthy and athletic in the current offseason, meaning he’s more tuned in than ever before.

If he keeps trending upward, it’s only a matter of time before Doncic is hoisting either the MVP or Larry O’Brien Trophy over his head.
