The entire NBA world is talking a lot about Zion Williamson since former New Orleans Pelicans teammate JJ Redick stated his opinion about Williamson’s “detachment” from the Pels.
Speaking about Williamson’s lack of communication with newcomer CJ McCollum, Redick called the big man out.
.@jj_redick is concerned with how "detached" Zion Williamson has been from the team.

He called Williamson a “detached” teammate.
He also said “this is a pattern of behavior that we are seeing again and again with Zion.”
Redick’s comments got people talking about Williamson, his attitude, and the future of the Pelicans.
NBA World Reacts To Redick
The idea of Williamson not being fully committed to the Pelicans isn’t a new one.
In fact, it’s been talked about pretty much since he was drafted to the team.
Now people are once again speaking about New Orleans trading him away.
It’s becoming apparent that Williamson doesn’t have much interest in being involved with the team.
Maybe it is time for him to move on.

Some analysts say now is the time for the Pelicans to start planning a future without Zion.
They claim he should be one of the biggest trade targets in the offseason, healthy or not.
Others speaking out about Williams are NBA fans fed up with the player’s unprofessional behavior.
They have had enough of Williamson ducking his team and remaining radio silent.
Zion Williamson deserves to be held to the fire publicly. I usually always side with the athlete but he hasn’t even given New Orleans or the Pelicans a chance. It’s unprofessional.

Others are publicly wondering what sort of impact a Williamson trade would have on the NBA.
What sort of precedent will it set if a former number one pick is able to play hardball and get traded before even playing 100 games?
Adam Silver has a huge problem on his hands if Zion Williamson requests a trade in the relative near future.
Just imagine the precedent that will be set if the #1 pick of a draft demands a trade from his small market team not even 100 games into his career.

Others are taking a more forgiving tone.
They are calling on someone to speak with Williamson and help him correct his course and right the wrongs he’s creating.
Someone needs to be big bro to @Zionwilliamson and let him know that the change in tone around him isn’t New Orleans specific and he can change the narrative by speaking up. He’s his own man yet he’s allowing people to speak (or not speak) for him. He’s a good kid. Stand up.

Yet, based on what we are hearing about Williamson, that ship may have sailed and his days in New Orleans may be coming to an end.
