The Chicago Bulls were supposed to go through a bit of a roster overhaul this season.
The trade deadline is just a handful of days away, and they haven’t made a single move.
As of now, a Zach LaVine trade seems quite unlikely, because of the big money he’s making and all the injuries.
DeMar DeRozan could gauge some interest as an expiring deal, but there haven’t been any major rumors regarding the former Toronto Raptors star.
Alex Caruso, however, has been a sought-after player around the league.
According to a report by Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports (via Evan Sidery), there’s plenty of interest in the former NBA champion, and the Bulls could even land several protected first-round picks for his services.
Several contending teams have expressed interest in trading for Alex Caruso, per @ZachLowe_NBA (https://t.co/mRBV9h09SN).

Notably, this is far from a surprise, as Caruso is a championship-caliber role player who has proven to be the kind of guy who rises to the occasion and thrives under pressure.
While not much of a scorer, he’s made a living out of knocking down clutch buckets, and he’s just a relentless defender and competitor who will lock down the opposing team’s best scorer night in and night out.
Ironically, despite not being an All-Star or a 20+ points-per-game scorer, Caruso has been the Bulls’ best and most valuable player more often than not.
Then again, with Arturas Karnisovas reportedly looking to stay pat at the trade deadline, they could waste a golden opportunity to recoup much-needed draft capital.
