Ever since he was traded to the Miami Heat by the Philadelphia 76ers a few years ago, star forward Jimmy Butler has made the team a perennial title contender, with two appearances in the NBA Finals thus far.
Butler went from being the second or third option on a playoff contender to being the No. 1 option on a title contender and reaching his true potential under arguably the best head coach in the NBA today in Erik Spoelstra.
Even though Butler is getting older, with the veteran forward being 34 years old, he still remains one of the elite players in the league with an undying passion to win that elusive NBA title.
Apparently, along with clearly being passionate about his quest to win a title during his playing career with the Heat, Butler has also been working on another career.
According to Claire De Lune of The Guardian, Butler has been working on a country album for over a year via Bleacher Report.

Butler is no stranger to off-the-floor ventures as he runs his own coffee business called Big Face Coffee, but diving into the music business is a surprising move for the perennial NBA All-Star, to say the least.
Clearly, Butler is thinking about what he will do during his post-playing days and is lining things up as a savvy businessman to maintain the considerable wealth he accumulated during his basketball career.
It’ll be interesting to see what Butler will be up to once his NBA career is over and other things he may have set up to prepare for retirement.
