The Philadelphia 76ers are currently surging and playing the sort of basketball fans have wanted for years.
They are the third-best team in the East, holding a strong 38-19 record and sitting just three games behind the top-seeded Boston Celtics.
It really does feel like the 76ers could make a strong impact on the playoffs this year.
In fact, their chance of making the Finals is better than it has been in years.
Despite this, there have been persistent rumors that one of the biggest stars on the team, James Harden, might not be on the roster for long.
#Rockets insider @KellyIko said he thinks there’s a 70% chance Harden will be on the Rockets opening day roster next season:

NBA insider Kelly Iko is reporting that there’s a “70% chance” that Harden will join the Houston Rockets next season.
There sure has been a lot of smoke around Harden during the last few months.
The 76ers have been much better than normal but speculation has said that Harden is intent on leaving in the summer and returning to the Rockets who are currently the worst team in the NBA with a dreadful 13-45 record.
They are not a good team – yet – but they have a lot of young talent and Harden reportedly sees himself at the center of their rebuilding process.
Harden has been doing quite well this year with an average of 21.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 10.8 assists.
Some people are shocked to hear that he would even consider a move from Philadelphia when they are finally doing so well.
Is there really a chance he makes his way back to Texas?
Some people wonder if the rumors around Harden are from his camp as a way to enhance his value with the 76ers and achieve a stronger contract in the future.
What are the chances that Harden is suiting up for the Rockets on opening day next season?
