The Washington Wizards have made it very clear they are looking to rebuild their roster.
They have been a mediocre team for the past five years.
Having not won more than 40 games since 2017-18, they are looking to try something new.
That means trading All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal.
According to Shams Charania, the Wizards and Beal are going to work together to find a trade partner if they do pursue a rebuild.
Just In: The Washington Wizards and Bradley Beal will work together to find a trade for the three-time All-Star if the team elects to reset the roster in the near future, league sources tell me and @JoshuaBRobbins.

The Wizards are not going to just give him away.
There is no question Beal is worth a large package of young players and picks.
But how many teams have the assets necessary to make a deal for the star?
Some teams that come to mind are the Miami Heat, New York Knicks, and Milwaukee Bucks.
All three made the playoffs this season and came up short of the ultimate goal.
If Beal gets traded anywhere it will be to a team contending for a championship.
Players like Beal do not grow on trees in the NBA.
He is an elite scorer when healthy, having two seasons where he averaged over 30 points per game.
Yet, his biggest problem has been staying on the court.
The last time Beal played 82 games was in 2018-19.
He has not played more than 60 games in a season since then.
Now entering his age-30 season next year, you can assume he will not become more durable.
Still, any team that is looking for a co-star should have an interest in Beal.
He could be the final piece that pushes a championship contender over the top.
