You can expect a whole lot of rumors about the next coach for the Los Angeles Lakers in the weeks ahead.
Frank Vogel has been let go and the front office is already hard at work at finding his replacement.
Some of the biggest names in the league have been rumored for the spot – and now you can add another one to the list.

It is being reported that the Lakers are targeting Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse for the job.
Nurse is a great coach and definitely has impressive skills that the Lakers need.
However, no one knows if the Lakers will actually land Nurse, who has a pretty plum job in Toronto.
Needing Nurse?
Nurse led the Raptors to their first NBA Finals victory back in the 2018-19 season, the only season the team had with Kawhi Leonard.
Since then, Nurse has kept the team in contention despite losing Leonard and Kyle Lowry too.
The Raptors are the number five team in the East and are set to battle it out with the Philadelphia 76ers at the start of the playoffs.
All of this raises the question: would Nurse want to take the Lakers’ head coaching gig?
The team is in shambles, a complete mess, while Nurse currently has a great, young team that still makes the playoffs.
However, running the Lakers is a dream job for just about every coach in the NBA, despite all of their problems.
Never underestimate the draw of working with LeBron James and the lights and spectacle of Hollywood.
Nurse joins a list of rumored choices that also include Doc Rivers, Quin Snyder, Juwan Howard, and more.
You can bet that list will only grow.
