The Los Angeles Lakers would rather forget all of Wednesday night.
Not only did they lose to the Golden State Warriors, but they also lost their most pivotal player.
Toward the end of the game, Anthony Davis was hit in the head by Warriors big man Kevon Looney.
After sitting on the bench for a few minutes, Davis returned to the locker room and didn’t play again due to concussion concerns.
Fans waited nervously for an update on Davis and they got a big one Thursday morning.
Chris Haynes is reporting that Davis is expected to be available for Friday’s Game 6, “barring a setback.”

This is nothing but great news for the Lakers.
Even with his frustrating ups and down, Davis has been a crucial part of the team throughout the playoffs.
He is averaging 21.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 3.4 blocks per game.
He is leading the league in both rebounds and blocks during the postseason.
Losing Davis would have been a huge blow to the Lakers, especially since they are just one win away from making the Western Conference Finals.
The way that he can lead in the paint is essential for a Lakers win.
There have been many complaints about Davis giving bad performances after good ones.
However, he has been fairly consistent during the last few games.
After scoring just 11 points in Game 2, he has posted 25, 23, and 23 points in the subsequent games.
He was well on his way to yet another triple-double on Wednesday night before his injury forced him off the floor.
Fans are hoping he is 100% himself again on Friday night and ready to get revenge on Stephen Curry and the Warriors.
