Just a few days ago, many NBA analysts and fans felt confident that the Los Angeles Lakers would beat the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference semifinals.
Following Wednesday night’s strong showing by the Warriors, people aren’t as sure now.
Skip Bayless said that his confidence level going into Game 6 is a “6” and he believes the Warriors have a 50% chance of winning three games in a row and returning to the Western Conference Finals.

Teams hardly ever come back from a 3-1 deficit but the Warriors are certainly a team that can – and has.
On Wednesday night, Curry suggested that the pressure is now on the Lakers even though they still hold the advantage.
That is a very valid point because the Lakers lost a lot of momentum on Wednesday night and it feels like the Warriors outsmarted them.
Shannon Sharpe pushed back against Bayless’ low confidence level, saying that the Warriors haven’t won a single game in Los Angeles during this series and that the Lakers will still have a Game 7 if they lose in 6.
Bayless didn’t seem so sure about his co-host’s optimism.
Most Lakers fans are feeling increasingly nervous right now.
They still believe that LA can win this series but they really want it to be finished on Friday night.
The prospect of losing a game at home and then returning to San Francisco for Game 7 is downright terrifying to many loyal LA followers.
Could the Lakers still win the series if they give up Game 6?
Of course they could but it would be a severe challenge for LeBron James and his team.
