Since being traded by the Los Angeles Lakers, we have heard a lot about Russell Westbrook and his future in the NBA.
He is currently part of the Utah Jazz and most people expect that team to buy him out in the near future and allow him to find another team to call his own.
Speculation has suggested that the Chicago Bulls or Miami Heat could be landing spots for Westbrook.
Meanwhile, multiple players from the Los Angeles Clippers have made it clear that they’d be glad to play with him.

But NBA expert Shams Charania isn’t quite sure that finding a new home will be easy for Westbrook.
Speaking on FanDuel TV, he said, “there’s not a spot for Westbrook” in the league right now.
He stated that if Westbrook already had a definitive team lined up, the Jazz would have already released him and let him sign with a new squad.
That obviously hasn’t happened so the team has until the start of March to decide what they want to do with him.
Despite the pleas and comments from players across the league, the final decision will always land with a team’s front office.
Westbrook’s recent run with the Lakers doesn’t exactly excite managers of teams.
He played inconsistently for much of his time in LA and, according to multiple reports, caused some issues in the locker room too.
Even his turnaround in 2022-23 might not be enough to convince a team to take him on.
There are plenty of talented NBA stars who are currently without a team right now.
Will Westbrook be one of them in the next few weeks?
