Kyle Kuzma missed four games with his Washington Wizards as he dealt with a minor injury that kept him sidelined.
But he returned to the team on Tuesday night and he once again made his presence known in a huge way.
Kuzma racked up 33 points and 9 rebounds against the Portland Trail Blazers, helping his Wizards secure a strong 126-101 victory.

Kuzma’s 33-point showing was the eighth time this season that he scored more than 30.
He has never done this before in his career.
This further proves that Kuzma is having perhaps the best season of his life.
He is putting up 21.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4 assists a game.
Additionally, he is shooting 45.5% from the field and 33.8% from the three-point line.
Kuzma is definitely more tuned in than he has been in years and is playing with the sort of enthusiasm and skill that fans have wanted from him for so long.
He appears comfortable leading the team too, adding even more of his importance to the Wizards’ roster.
Kuzma has been doing so well that there was a lot of speculation about him being traded to another team a few weeks ago.
It was possible for the Wizards to acquire a big star in return for Kuzma.
But in the end, the front office decided that instead of losing Kuzma they wanted to retain him and build the team around him.
So, it seems like Kuzma is going to be part of the Wizards’ future.
With eight 30-point games this season, you can’t blame Washington for wanting to keep him around for a long time.
