The last two years have been turbulent for the Brooklyn Nets‘ Ben Simmons, as he demanded a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers and proceeded to cut off almost all communication with his teammates and coaches.
Then, after arriving in Brooklyn, he got to team up with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, only to see both of them get traded just several weeks ago.
Now, he is expected to employ Bernie Lee, who also represents Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler, as his new agent.

This fan seems to think Simmons’ days in the NBA could be numbered and that he’ll have to head overseas to continue playing basketball.
Hopefully his agent knows how to speak china fluently

This fan has an even more cynical take.
For what? He still not finna play and no team will want him after the season

The first overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Simmons was once thought to have superstar potential, especially because of his open-court skills and athleticism at 6-foot-10.
But he has never tapped into his potential, even though he has become one of the better defenders in the league.
His numbers this season with Brooklyn – 6.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game – are even lower than they were in Philly when many were disappointed that he never averaged as much as 17 points a game for an entire season.
With Durant and Irving gone, Simmons is now thought to be the cornerstone of a rebuilding project for the Nets.
However, he has a huge contract that will pay him over $37 million a year for the next two seasons, and few expect him to justify being paid that type of money.
