Since coming to the Brooklyn Nets, Mikal Bridges has transformed his career in many ways.
During his first four years in the league, Bridges started in most games for his Phoenix Suns and was a very impressive and helpful role player on the court.
But he wasn’t often spoken of as one of the top players for the Suns.
That isn’t the case in Brooklyn, where Bridges is now a hero to Nets fans all over.
As noted by StatMuse, since the All-Star break, Bridges has scored more points than his old teammate Devin Booker, as well as Jayson Tatum, Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Edwards, Donovan Mitchell, and plenty of others.
He is now scoring more than 26 points per game.

During his first 15 games with the Nets, Bridges has been good for 26.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists.
His field goal percentage is now 50% and his three-point percentage is a career-high 44.4%.
More than anything, Bridges has added a bolt of energy and enthusiasm to the team.
Things were looking pretty bad for the Nets after losing both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.
Most fans weren’t sure what the future looked like for Brooklyn.
But with these breakout performances from Bridges, it is clear that the team can continue to do some impressive things with a new roster of up-and-coming stars.
On Thursday night, the two biggest players for Brooklyn were new recruits.
Bridges led his team, again, with 23 points while Spencer Dinwiddie posted 18 points and 7 assists.
The Nets still ended up losing but at least they showed that there is willing and promising talent on the team.
