The Golden State Warriors were already riding high this summer because of their recent victory at the NBA Finals.
There is every reason to believe that they could do it again in the 2022-23 season too.
The team is certainly poised to be one of the most powerful in the entire league.
And now they know they will have one of their secret weapons returning.
Andre Iguodala just revealed that he will return to the Warriors in the upcoming season, his 19th in the league.

Over the last eight seasons, the Warriors have made the NBA Finals six times with Iguodala on board.
When he wasn’t with the team for two seasons, they missed the playoffs entirely.
Iguodala might not be the most important player on the team but he does bring something very consequential to Golden State.
Iggy’s Drive
Iguodala has officially become something of a player-coach over the last few years.
He is using his expertise and wisdom about the game and imparting it to other younger players.
This is great news for guys like Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, and more.
In this upcoming season, Iguodala’s last, he will probably not get a lot of minutes on the floor and will spend most of his time on the bench.
But his ability to mentor and coach others will be on full display from there and he could inspire and guide these youthful superstars-in-the-making.
Iguodala has been playing in the league for years now and has found most of his success with the Warriors, a team that encouraged his particular personality and desire to assist others.
He has been a huge help to the Warriors over the years and they are happy to have him one more time.
