When the reigning champions, the Golden State Warriors, return to the NBA next month they will have a lot to prove.
The team will aim for back-to-back Finals victories, a feat that is easier said than done.
They will have a lot going for them, including the return of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, and others.
And now they know that they will also have one of their most beloved stars.

The future of Andre Iguodala with the team is now known.
For months now, there has been speculation that Iguodala might retire before the new season starts but he has now said that he is officially coming back – but for just one more season.
Upon announcing his return for his 19th season, he said, “”I’m letting you know now, Steph, this the last one.”
Fans will be ecstatic to see Iguodala play for one more season but even after he retires, he might have a future with the Warriors.
What Iggy Brings
Iguodala has been in the league since 2004 and played for the Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat as well as the Warriors.
However, he will always be a hero to fans of Golden State and even won a Finals MVP with the team back in 2015.
His career average is 11.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists but now he’s only producing 4 points a game in just 19.5 minutes.
Time has caught up with Iguodala and it’s clear that his career is near its end so it’s not surprising to hear he is committing to just one more year.
There has been a lot of speculation about him taking on a coaching role when that is done, however.
Many people envision Iguodala joining Kerr’s staff after he stops playing the game and that’s easily a position he would do well with.
