To say that expectations for the Phoenix Suns are high right now is a major understatement.
The moment that Kevin Durant was traded, fans all across the NBA said the team had a great chance of taking the West and going all the way to the NBA Finals.
So far, the team has lived up to the hype.
But there are multiple NBA fans and analysts who think that the supreme victory over the rest of the league is in the cards and anything less than that is a disappointment.

Broussard’s enthusiastic words about the Suns are both high praise and also a big warning.
He is not alone in assuming that the Suns can go all the way this season.
There are now numerous people stating that the Finals should be claimed by the Suns this season, especially after their 3-0 start with Durant on the roster.
So what happens if Phoenix isn’t able to do that?
What will the reaction be if they are overtaken by another team or if injuries occur and they can’t compete at such a high level?
How much grace will fans around the NBA give the Suns if they don’t take home a ring this year?
The Suns know that a lot of pressure is on them.
Whether they win or lose, they know that people are going to talk and critique them.
But they seem ready for that.
