As they have been so many times before, fans of the Los Angeles Lakers are very worried about Anthony Davis.
Davis and the team just suffered one of their worst losses of the season on Monday, taken down 127-115 by the Portland Trail Blazers.
The loss came after days of speculation about Davis.
"I don't know what is happening with Anthony Davis. … The Lakers loss to the Blazers was an abomination. Portland played one guy taller than 6'7" — and that was Drew Eubanks. If there was ever a night to get 35 — something is going on with AD." — @getnickwright pic.twitter.com/COVA4ScB3E

To some, Davis has not seemed like his normal self lately and it has fans and analysts concerned.
NBA insider Nick Wright let his feelings be clearly known on First Things First, saying that “something is going on with AD.”
Wright mentioned how the Blazers had only one player taller than 6-foot-7 on Monday night and their frontcourt lineup was lacking.
Yet, Davis still wasn’t able to contain them.
Just a few days ago, Davis deactivated his Instagram account and he looked sour and withdrawn as his teammate LeBron James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all-time point leader in the NBA last week.
Davis has also given some answers in press conferences that show he is unhappy with how things are going in LA.
All of this has some people wondering if he will request a trade from the team in the summer.
If he were to do that, it would put the Lakers in a tricky situation.
Because he’s had a very good season for much of 2022-23, Davis’ trade value would be incredibly high.
But the Lakers would be losing an awful lot.
Even with his injuries and his latest stretch of lackluster work, Davis is still an incredibly valuable part of the franchise.
The idea of him losing interest in playing for them would be devastating.
Fans are hopeful that the return of LeBron James and the new players on the team can lead to some wins and a much happier and more productive Davis.
