For the first time in ages, no member of the Golden State Warriors was part of this weekend’s All-Star Game.
It is true that Stephen Curry should have been involved but he’s recovering from an injury.
The absence of the Warriors on the rosters or coaching staff shows that the team isn’t as dominant as it once was.

During the game, NBA legend and analyst Charles Barkley had a little back-and-forth with Warriors star Draymond Green.
Barkley didn’t hold back, saying, “the Golden State Warriors are cooked.”
When Green shot back and reminded Barkley that he said the same thing last season, just months before they won their latest championship, Barkley said, “Y’all are done. I’m telling you, ya’ll are done.”
Barkley is sometimes full of hot air but he’s not alone in this prediction for the reigning champions.
The Warriors will have a very tough road ahead if they want to even get close to the success they had last season.
They are the ninth team in the West.
Their 29-29 record puts them behind the Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, Dallas Mavericks, and others.
Additionally, Curry is out with injuries to his left leg and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.
Other players on the team have been trying to carry the load without Curry.
But if the team wants to climb close to the top of the West again, they will need everyone to perform at their peak abilities.
If they don’t want to be cooked, the Warriors need to get cooking.
