With the rate that he’s currently going, Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is headed to enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
In five NFL seasons, he has been a three-time All-Pro and a three-time Pro Bowler.
He’s had double-digit sacks over the last four seasons and established a career-high 16 sacks in 2021.
Garrett also has 140 solo tackles, 11 forced fumbles, and nine interceptions in his career so far.
Knowing that he’s the anchor of their defensive line, the Browns gave him a five-year, $125 million contract extension in 2020.
That contract could make him a Brown until 2026 and he will receive $100 million in guaranteed money.
The former Texas A&M standout is a disruptive force that might need multiple offensive linemen to block.
Even if he is already paid well, he still has that hunger to dominate the trenches.
But as he builds his credentials for Canton, he will only go to that sacred place on one condition.

Great Motivation For Garrett
NFL insider Dov Kleiman tweeted, “#Browns star @Flash_Garrett didn’t join the rest of the team in Hall of Fame tour, says he only wants to visit the Hall after he gets enshrined as a Hall of Famer himself.”
Garrett said, “Honestly, I don’t want to go. I’ve kept myself from going because I don’t want to go until I’m in it. Until I have my face in it, I don’t want to go. If we go as a team and Kevin [Stefanski] says, ‘I want you to go,’ that’s fair play. But I’m not trying to go until they have me in there for good.”
Perhaps having a bronze bust is his motivation to go hard on every snap.
It might take a while before he finally gets in, given that he’s only 26 years old.
But it’s a no-brainer that he will go in once he becomes eligible.
