With the 2022 NFL regular season schedule released, football fans can examine the schedule for some of the best matchups.

A slate of players with new teams are facing off against their old team in Week 1.

Some are players that got traded, while others are players that left in free agency.

There are some exciting Week 1 games.

However, only three games stand out the most.

So which three NFL 2022 Week 1 games are those standout games?

3. Denver Broncos At Seattle Seahawks

Russell Wilson gets to face his former team in a primetime matchup on Monday Night Football.

Among the Week 1 NFL storylines:
—Russell Wilson’s first game w/ #Broncos is in Seattle vs #Seahawks on MNF
—Carson Wentz’s first game w/ #Commanders is the same his last with the #Colts: vs #Jaguars, this time with Doug Pederson
—#Buccaneers–#Cowboys again, this time in Texas

While the Seahawks could show some life in the game, Wilson will attempt to make his former team regret trading him.

With Drew Lock set to be a starter for Settle, it will be interesting how he does against his former team.

So the battle becomes that of two teams who switched quarterbacks.

All that remains for fans is to find the answer to which quarterback will get revenge on their former team.

Does Russell still have his Super Bowl MVP magic in the tank?

Or will the young Lock show in his fourth NFL season that he’s turned a corner as a quarterback?

2. Las Vegas Raiders At Los Angeles Chargers

While this game isn’t a primetime game, it will have that primetime feel.

This will be Davante Adams’ first game back with Derek Carr since their days at Fresno State.

It will also see Khalil Mack facing the team he was drafted by many years ago.

Packers fans that aren’t happy Adams left the team will watch, hoping he fails.

Raiders fans believe Carr has no excuses if he fails with Adams on the team.

Yep, best buds forever. The problem is Carr is not what people think. He’s not elite. Adams is used to Rodgers, who is elite af. This will end disastrously. Carr will fail Adams, McD and the #Raiders. Carr is in over his head and the excuses won’t work this year.

If Carr fails with Adams, fans will finally have their answer to his true potential with Las Vegas.

His path in this game won’t be simple, as the Chargers defense has Mack and other weapons to pressure the quarterback.

The Carr to Adams magic will be interesting to see.

With Los Angeles, it’s Joey Bosa, Mack, and others on defense set to prevent that magic from happening.

1. Buffalo Bills At Los Angeles Rams

The first game of the NFL 2022 season is the biggest game to watch.

This Thursday Night Football game finds Von Miller facing the team he won a Super Bowl with last season.

It also puts the two early favorites for making the Super Bowl in a matchup.

While the Bills failed to make the Super Bowl a second time, they got the tools they need to change that fate.

However, they face Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and others in a tough first game of 2022.

Miller is a standalone talent on the Bills defense, while the Rams defense has many defensive stars.

This game will test Josh Allen and whether he and the Bills are a Super Bowl-worthy team this season.

If he pulls out a victory against the defending Super Bowl champions, look for Buffalo being the talk of the NFL world for Week 1.
