Walk-offs are some of the most exciting moments that can occur during baseball games.
The home team has that advantage and has the ability to win the game in the bottom of the ninth inning or later by scoring just once to break a tie and finish things off.
On Wednesday, there were three such games that ended in this fashion.
The New York Mets completed a big comeback against the red-hot Tampa Bay Rays by winning on Pete Alonso’s home run.
The defending World Series champion Houston Astros tallied four runs in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat the Chicago Cubs on a game-winning base-hit by Kyle Tucker.
Just north of the border, Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen hit a three-run walk-off home run to beat the New York Yankees.
On Twitter, MLB posted a collage of photos to celebrate a wild day of walk-offs.

Jansen, Tucker, and Alonso all proved to have a flair for the dramatic on Wednesday as they led their respective teams to wild walk-off wins.
Walk-off wins are one of the most enjoyable aspects of baseball for players and fans.
If the game is tied, all it takes to win is one run to send the opposing team home unhappy.
The Blue Jays, Astros, and Mets were able to do just that on Wednesday night, coming through in clutch situations to put the finishing touches on a truly wild night of baseball.
We’ll see if Thursday has some more walk-off magic in store for us.
