The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been on a roll the past month, winning four games in a row and claiming the top spot in the NFC South.
The Buccaneers appear poised to win their fourth consecutive divisional title, and because of their offensive potency, they shouldn’t be slept on in the playoffs.
Tampa Bay is experiencing a resurgence on the offensive end thanks to Baker Mayfield and offensive coordinator Liam Coen.
However, players like Mike Evans, Rachaad White, and Bucky Irving also played their part.
Mayfield looks like a star quarterback, as he’s been letting the football rip and challenging defenses vertically.
Even though the team lost Chris Godwin for the remainder of the 2024 NFL season to an ankle injury, the offense continues to hum and fire on all cylinders.
Mayfield’s career season is a large reason Michael Strahan is buying into the Buccaneers as a playoff threat via FOX Sports.
“These aren’t your mama’s Buccaneers. These are the Bakerneers, baby,” Strahan said.

Tampa Bay rose to prominence when Tom Brady joined the team, but Mayfield’s been able to keep them relevant since he retired.
Mayfield and the Buccaneers still have some work left to do, as they haven’t clinched the division yet.
However, given how well they’ve been playing lately, it seems like only a matter of time.
