The second half of the 2022 MLB season is officially upon us.
Races are going to heat up, whether it be for a division, a Wild Card, the Cy Young, Rookie of the Year, or MVP.
We’ve got a lot of excitement left in this season.
Trade rumors are also heating up.
Though it’s time to turn the page, that doesn’t mean we can’t still look back on some of the great moments from the first half.
The New York Mets certainly had a thrilling first half, going 58-35 and posting the second best record in the National League.
They tweeted a collage of photos of some of their best first half moments.

Celebrating The First Half
The first half’s accomplishments could be the second half’s motivation.
The Mets certainly grinded it out after losing both Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer early in the season to injuries.
But they managed to get through all the struggles and keep winning baseball games, staking their claim in the NL East, even with the Atlanta Braves charging hard and nipping at their heels.
The Mets did a lot to improve their team heading into 2022 and seem to have finally built a winner for the first time in a while.
But if the first half was any indication, these Mets should come out swinging in the second half as they look to end their six-year postseason drought and take a shot at a World Series title for the first time since 1986.
So Mets fans, enjoy these photos of some of the best moments of the first half.
The second half is here, and it’s going to be one heck of a ride as we move towards the end of the season.
