Prior to last night’s roller coaster ride of a game between the New York Mets and San Francisco Giants, New York’s star shortstop Francisco Lindor was signing autographs for fans sitting directly above the visitor’s dugout at Oracle Park.
Lindor would go on to have a two-homer, six-RBI night, rivaling Joc Pederson‘s three-homer, eight-RBI game.
Mets insider Tim Healey captured a few pictures of Lindor signing autographs for fans and tweeted them.
One of the pictures featured Lindor signing a sign made by a little girl which read, “My favorite Francisco is Lindor.”
How fitting, given that they were literally in San Francisco?

A Favorite Francisco
This is a nice little moment captured by Healey, and the girl’s sign is perfect.
While in San Francisco, this young Mets fan made sure everybody understood one thing, that San Francisco was not her favorite “Francisco.”
Lindor takes the cake for that one.
And he was everyone’s favorite “Francisco” in that moment, signing autographs for fans, whether they were Mets fans or Giants fans.
He certainly always is the Mets’ favorite Francisco, and this young girl can attest to that, given that Lindor autographed her sign.
It’s always nice when players devote their time to fans and sign things for them.
There’s no question that this little girl is super excited about having her sign autographed.
Lindor’s heart certainly melted when he got to see this girl’s sign.
This sign is probably one of the more clever signs that have ever been created.
It fits perfectly given that the game took place in San Francisco.
But that young Mets fan wants to make sure everybody knows who her favorite Francisco is.
