By now, the entire baseball world is aware of the current drama that is taking place with the Baltimore Orioles.
Recently, Kevin Brown, one of the team’s play-by-play announcers, was suspended for detailing the struggles the Orioles have had at Tropicana Field prior to this season.
The news of Brown’s suspension was met with outrage from fans and media members alike, as it spread all across the world of baseball.
On Monday night, the New York Mets were hosting the Chicago Cubs, and Mets play-by-play announcer Gary Cohen put in his two cents on the matter, sticking up for Brown and criticizing the Orioles organization for their decision, via Foul Territory on Twitter.
Gary Cohen spoke out in support of suspended Orioles broadcaster Kevin Brown during Mets-Cubs.
"Let me just say one thing to Baltimore Orioles management. You draped yourself in humiliation when you fired Jon Miller. And you're doing it again."pic.twitter.com/eGW0kiAf0k

Cohen began by stating that the Orioles organization had “draped itself in utter humiliation” with their treatment of Brown.
He also praised Brown for the work he has done early on in his broadcasting career.
The Mets announcer then made a bold, but factual statement directed at the Orioles management, recalling when famed announcer Jon Miller, who is now calling games for the San Francisco Giants, was fired from his job.
Cohen said that the Orioles had embarrassed themselves then and were essentially repeating their mistakes.
Finally, Cohen stated that if the Orioles didn’t want Brown as one of their broadcasters, there are 29 other teams in Major League Baseball who would be more than happy to have him on board, while also pointing out that the Orioles have gotten the exact reaction that they deserve for diverting attention away from their promising season.
