Anytime you want to learn anything about the NFL Draft and the league’s upcoming prospects, ESPN Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. is the expert you may want to listen to.
This year, the Tennessee Titans hold the No. 1 overall draft pick, and Kiper believes they will choose a quarterback.
Miami quarterback Cam Ward, to be specific.
“I still rate Shedeur Sanders, in terms of rankings, as my QB1. But for Cam Ward…his accuracy, his arm strength, his mobility is the reason why he, I think, goes No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans,” Kiper said via Sports Center on Wednesday morning.

Kiper also noted that Ward, playing in three different college systems, has helped his draft stock rise as well.
Last season at Miami, Ward proved that he could be the future of any NFL team that wants him.
He threw for 4,315 yards, recorded 43 total touchdowns, and tossed just seven interceptions.
The Tennessee Titans need some more life in the quarterback room.
Will Levis couldn’t seem to find his footing under first-year head coach Brian Callahan.
After going 3-6 as the starter under former head coach Mike Vrabel in his rookie season back in 2023, Levis went just 2-10 this season as the starter and threw just 13 touchdowns to 12 interceptions.
This organization desperately needs to find some juice in the quarterback department.
Ward could be a great option for them at the top spot, especially if it is the Miami Hurricanes version of Ward.
