The New York Jets have high hopes for the upcoming NFL season, and they’re hoping to win what would be their first Super Bowl in over a half-century.
They have future Hall-of-Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers on board, as well as a stout defense that was fourth in points and total yards given up last season.
While Jets players are hoping to be sized up for championship rings by February, wide receiver Mecole Hardman already has some impressive jewelry of his own that shows his loyalty to his new team.

Hardman spent the last four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won world championships in the 2019 and 2022 campaigns.
He may not be a top-flight receiver, but he did make the Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2019 while posting 538 yards and six touchdowns and excelling as a kick returner on special teams.
Hardman will join reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson and former Green Bay Packers Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb as Rodgers’ main targets.
However, head coach Robert Saleh will likely want the Jets to earn their lunch money on the defensive side of the football, especially since he is a former defensive coordinator who helped the San Francisco 49ers reach the Super Bowl in the 2019 season.
On that side of the football, New York has Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner and All-Pro defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to throw at their opponents.
The Jets may not win it all this winter, but they will at least have a competitive team that the Tri-state area can respect.
