After another dismal season for the Las Vegas Raiders, big changes could be coming this offseason, especially now that they have hired Pete Carroll to be their head coach.
One of those changes could involve Pro Bowl defensive end Maxx Crosby, who has been the subject of trade rumors lately.
The pass rusher recently told former Raiders coach Jon Gruden he simply needs to do what he needs to do as the offseason moves on.
“I have no control of it,” Crosby said, via Mike Dixon of Vegas Sports Today. “I just show up, go to work and do what I do. For me, all that matters, I want a chance to win. I want to have an opportunity to win a Super Bowl.”

Crosby is an absolute monster on the defensive line, and despite missing five games due to injury this season, he posted 7.5 sacks, 20 quarterback hits and 17 tackles for loss.
In 2022 and 2023, he led the NFL with 22 and 23 tackles for loss, respectively, while notching a combined 27.0 sacks.
He cited specific rumors that had him heading to the Detroit Lions, a team that needed help on defense after the leg injury Aidan Hutchinson suffered a few months ago, or the Buffalo Bills, who seemingly need one more piece in order to finally get back to the Super Bowl.
Crosby has played all six of his NFL seasons for the Raiders, and during that time they have finished with a winning record and made the playoffs just once.
If Crosby does get traded, he could elevate the fortunes of his next team and should have several productive years left.
