When Aaron Rodgers fell to injury during the New York Jets‘ season opener, there was a palpable energy switch in the stadium.
Rodgers entered the year with such high expectations but is now out for the entire season.
With this injury in mind, the Jets were forced to turn to Zach Wilson, who responded with a gritty victory over the Buffalo Bills.
Wilson’s past performances might cause negativity within the Jets fanbase, but Matt Ryan recently gave some words of encouragement.
In a conversation with Adam Schein of CBS, Ryan said, “The good part for the Jets is that they’ve got talent all over the place.”

This roster has been highly touted throughout the offseason for the amount of star power at many positions.
While Rodgers might be out for the season, Ryan truly believes the Jets can make it work, even with Wilson at the helm.
He has players like Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, and Allen Lazard at his disposal.
Each of these offensive players has been given high praise throughout their respective careers, especially Garrett Wilson.
He is coming off an Offensive Rookie of the Year campaign, and his acrobatic catch during Week 1 showed he is back, ready to make a similar impact.
Zach Wilson might not be the quarterback Jets fans were expecting, but he is the quarterback they now have.
