The Chicago Bears are a team that is coming off the worst record in football last year.
They would have selected first overall in the draft had they not traded the pick away.
But, moving that pick was a sign that the Bears believe in Justin Fields as their quarterback of the future.
Fields struggled to throw the ball consistently last season but excelled with his legs.
For the Bears to take that next step as a team, it will be on the shoulders of Fields.
Chicago added some weapons in the passing game including star wide receiver DJ Moore.
Now is the time for Fields to take his game to a new level as a passer.
On “The Pat McAfee Show,” Bears head coach Matt Eberflus talked about Fields’ “special qualities” and the “it factor” he possesses.
"Justin Fields has those special qualities and that it factor that you're looking for in a QB"

Every quarterback must have the ability to do something special on the field at a moment’s notice.
Fields can do that with his legs, which separate him from other QBs in the league.
Eberflus also discussed how Fields is the hardest-working player on their team.
He is the first one in the building and the last one to leave.
But Fields will have to prove that he is a better passer.
Opposing defenses are going to try and take away his legs and force him to beat them with his arm.
If he can do that then the Bears could surprise a lot of people this year.
