For years, NFL fans and Tom Brady haters debated whether he was a byproduct of Bill Belichick’s greatness.
Notably, the tables have turned in that debate over the past three years or so.
Brady went on to win another Super Bowl without Belichick, all while the New England Patriots have struggled to get by.

Of course, it’s hard to discredit everything he’s done in this league, and no one can deny that he’s one of the savviest and brightest defensive masterminds this game has ever seen.
Also, going from arguably the greatest quarterback of all time to anybody else will always be a downgrade, and all teams would need an adjustment period to make that sort of transition.
Still, it’s getting harder to make a case for himself, or at least for him to be responsible for Brady’s success, but at the end of the day, there’s simply no way to take anything away from a guy like Belichick.
